Owned by the Burke Family, maintained by the Culpeper Area Mountain Bike Organization (CAMBO), organised by FredEvents, and photographed by us, Will Ramos Photography, the Battle at Burke Farm Mountain Bike Race was a smashing success (actually a little too smashing for some)!
Saturday saw racers from across the area rocketing down super fast single track sections, pounding up lung busting climbs, navigating rocky challenges, and braving a teeter-totter and off camber bridges.

We’d like to give special thanks to Assistant Photographer of the Day Mari-Kay. Not only does she help lead the Tuesday night rides (and thus knows the area like the back of her hand) but she’s a quick study at pro-photography.

Can’t get enough mtb fun? Watch for us in the coming weeks as we follow the mountain bike tour better known as The Cranky Monkey. The adventure continues Sunday at Wakefield. Five mountain bike races in six weeks… we must be crazy!
