No Time To Text
Dec 9th, 2007 by Brian
You know you’re up late when the previous day’s Twitter update has been posted (it’s an automatic thing see).
It’s a nice feature the Twitter daily summary (or, I don’t know, maybe it’s an annoying feature for people expecting to see actual content). Anyways, for yesterday it paints a slightly incomplete picture. More accurately it would read as follows:
- waking up (@5:55am!!!)
- driving to reston (@620am)
- photographing 4,000 people running in the Reindeer Romp 5K (@830am)
- shopping at Costco, no lines… woohoo! (@1050am)
- shopping at Trader Joes (nice portrait Michelle!) (@1130)
- shopping at Total Wine (Shiner!!!) (@1145)
- finally home again, eating lunch, downloading 4,000+ race photos (@1230)
- last minute gathering of things/leaving house again (@300)
- trying to convince lady at copy center that in the time you are taking to tell me that you can’t run my print job you could actually be done running my print job. my logic wins for once! (@330)
- driving north to herndon (@345)
- huckleberry inn! (@420)
- garlands and xmas lights (@430)
- unloading car, setting up lights, etc. (@530)
- other last minute things (@6:30)
- showtime! (@7:00)
- so many people makes a house warm on a cool night (800pm)
- trying to talk to as many people as possible. failing a bit.
- success!
- thanks kristin! thanks shane! (@1120pm)
- smoky bars with k & b. sitting for first time in a few hours. it’s kinda nice (@1130)
- road side attractions for $500… what is FOAMHENGE!
- closing time (@200am)
- toll rd and phone call to cali (@230)
- home, shower, sleep (@300)

you know it’s a small world when you search for a song title using the first line of lyrics “when you’re on a holiday…” (Island in the sun, by Weezer) and instead the first hit on google brings up your friends post from his art showing last month!
just realized why….apparently it searches all sites that I have previously gone to and tries to find similarities….so much for my small world theory. I suppose it’s more of a Big Brother theory now and apparently Google is watching everything I do. Freaky.
