Hey, glad you liked the Sarah Vowell bit. Yeah, I did know about the misquote, but I rather like it better than the original (especially the part about rolling a kayak), so I'll probably keep it...

I found my way to your blog via Sarah Vowell, specifically your account of her show in D.C. where she turned up late. Thanks, it was a fun posting.

You must have gotten this before, but your opening quote is actually a misquoting of a phrase from Robert Heinlein's "Time Enough For Love." Hitchner acknowledges this on his own web site: http://users.idworld.net/dmangels/hitchner.htm

Hi Brian!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a looong time and seems that you are having loots of fun! And working very hard! Not to mention your breathtaking photographs!

I've entered the laptop universe! :-) but had quite a few troubles migrating the information from my former PC to this one. And... I can't find your email in my contacts :(.
If you don't mind to be in touch, would you please send me your email address again?

Thanks!

Take care, have fun, and hope to see you again soon!

Best from Patagonia,
